Vehicle Types
The G500M reports on the GT06 protocol, which is served on port 5023 at gps.traxelio.com. Cantrack's product page lists GPRS Class 12 and TCP/IP but does not name a protocol, so treat the first position arriving in Traxelio as the confirmation.
Plug it into the 16-pin OBD-II port of the vehicle. Cantrack says it can draw power from that port, with a 9 to 36 V working range. Insert an activated data SIM first, then check that the unit reports from a spot with open sky.
Cantrack lists an unplug alarm, motion detection, a G-sensor and geo-fences, plus ignition detection, scheduled timing reports and a power-on report. The unplug alarm is the one most tied to the OBD form factor, since the unit sits in a port that can be pulled out.
Cantrack's specification describes power from the OBD-II port, ignition detection and a G-sensor. It does not list engine or diagnostic readings, so plan on position, ignition and motion events rather than ECU data.
Cantrack states the unit stores up to 1,400 positions while out of coverage and sends them later. Keep the SIM active so the stored points can upload once the vehicle is back on the network.
Overview
Cantrack describes the G500M as its smallest OBD GPS tracker: it plugs into the car's 16-pin OBD-II port and powers from it on 9 to 36 V, drawing 5 to 50 mA. The enclosure measures 50 x 38 x 25 mm, with built-in GSM and GPS antennas, an MTK 66-channel GPS chipset, GSM/GPRS on 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and storage for 1,400 positions that upload when coverage returns. The listing shows GSM/GPRS only, so confirm that your carrier still runs a 2G network where you drive. Cantrack lists an unplug alarm, motion and G-sensor detection, geo-fences, ignition detection and scheduled reports. This model reports on the GT06 protocol, port 5023, host gps.traxelio.com. Cantrack's page does not name the protocol, so confirm the first position arrives after you set the server. The OBD port supplies power; Cantrack does not list vehicle diagnostic data for this model.

Android and iOS app maintained by Huizhou Cantrack Technology under the SecumorePlus brand. Provides live position, ignition state, history playback, geofence alerts, and remote engine cut-off for paired C-series and G-series devices. The same platform is also sold as Cantrack GPS to other resellers.
Check in order: the SIM has data and credit, the unit is seated fully in the OBD-II port, the vehicle is outdoors for a first GPS fix (Cantrack quotes under 35 seconds cold start in open sky), and the IMEI in Traxelio matches the label.
The G500M draws from the OBD-II port, and some vehicles switch that port off with the ignition. If positions stop at engine off, the vehicle's port is likely unpowered, so test on the vehicle you plan to track.
Cantrack does not publish a setup command list for this model on its product page. Ask the seller for the setup sheet for your unit, point the server to gps.traxelio.com port 5023, and contact Traxelio support if the unit stays silent.
