Dingtek is not a classic ignition-and-RPM truck story. Traccar’s DingtekFrameDecoder plus string codec on TCP 5208 decodes sensor-style payloads where height / fill level is a first-class attribute — think smart bins and tank monitors that also carry a location.
Wrong mental model
If your runbook starts with “check ACC wire,” you are probably on the wrong protocol family. Dingtek tickets start with “is height updating when the container fills?”
Neighbours
Supermate on 5108 is IMEI/commandId ASCII with oil/signal fields. Sigfox on 5154 arrives as HTTP JSON from an LPWAN cloud. Neither replaces Dingtek’s framed height path.
