GPS tracking by asset type

GPS tracking for tractors

A tractor GPS tracker should show where each tractor is, when it ran and whether it moved when it should not. Traxelio shows every tractor live, alerts you when one starts outside your set hours or leaves a boundary, and supports immobilizer action on compatible models.

Frequently asked questions

On compatible models, an immobilizer request is recorded and sent to the tracker when it is online, or queued otherwise and possibly delivered later, when the vehicle may be in a different state. Traxelio does not check speed or ignition, so do not use it on a moving tractor. You follow the tractor live in the meantime.

Yes. Draw a geo-zone around the yard or a field and Traxelio alerts you when the tractor crosses it. Set curfew hours and you are alerted when it starts or moves outside them.

Yes. Activity reports show the drive hours, idle time and distance of each tractor. If the tracker reports engine hours, the Engine Hours report shows the running time per period, and maintenance reminders can follow it.

Tractor trackers are usually wired to the vehicle power and ignition, which lets Traxelio record when the engine runs, how long the tractor idles and when each trip starts.
