Bouncie's SIM is on a single US carrier (typically T-Mobile). Highway dead zones in low-coverage areas drop the signal. The device buffers offline and re-uploads when signal returns. For full coverage, Bouncie is the only option in the US ecosystem.
Bouncie occupies the port. To run a scan tool, unplug Bouncie temporarily. The device re-attaches on plug-in. Bouncie doesn't expose OBD-II passthrough.
