No · best practice (and Traxelio's default) is to cut at the next ignition cycle, not while driving. The TK303G relay is wired to the fuel pump or starter, and the platform sends stop to disable the next start, not the current one.
Same family, different generation. TK103 is the older 2-wire entry, TK303G is the 4-wire IP65 successor with relay and shock alarm. Both use the GPS103 protocol.
In Senegal and most of West Africa, yes · 2G is still the backbone and the TK303G reports fine. But 2G is retiring region by region worldwide, so treat it as a low-cost unit for a 2G-alive market, not a decade-long bet. Where a carrier has announced a 2G shutdown, move to a 4G-capable tracker instead.
