Quick answers

Stock Traccar port?

TCP 5259.

Position frame?

Starts with ~ and ends with $.

Control lines?

{ or ^ get ACK.

Jmak on Traccar TCP 5259 is tilde/pipe framed text. JmakProtocolDecoder ignores/ACKs lines starting { or ^ with ASCII ACK; position frames must start with ~ and end with $, then split on | — first part ;-separated values (device id in field index 2), optional second part CAN ; fields — and ACK success.

~…$ — not Granit +RRCB~

Do not confuse with Granit +RRCB~ on 5113 or ITS $…* on 5179. Jmak’s identity is the ~…|…$ + ACK dialect on 5259.

Catalogue stance

Stock Traccar reference only. Traxelio lists Jmak as positions_only.

Setup walkthrough

  1. 1

    Confirm ~…$ capture

ASCII must be tilde-prefixed and $-terminated — not +RRCB~ Granit.

  2. 2

    Aim host at TCP 5259

Save APN server hostname/IP and port 5259; reboot.

  3. 3

    Put device id in values[2]

Session bind uses the third semicolon field.

  4. 4

    Optional CAN segment

Second | part carries CAN ; fields.

Common troubleshooting

Only {/^ ACKs

Control lines do not create positions — send ~…$ frames.

Sent to 5113

Granit +RRCB~ will not match Jmak. Move to 5259.
