Does Thuraya send Concox 0x7878 frames?
No. Thuraya opens #T then a length and a type word 0x5101 or 0x7101. Concox families use 0x7878 binary login.
What Thuraya type word plots a batch?
0x7101 is a periodic batch: one count byte, then that many packed locations. 0x5101 is a single event. 0x8115 does not plot.
Does Thuraya send an ACK?
Traxelio replies #T with type 0x9901, the same unit id, and a two's-complement checksum. That reply is not a map point.
How are Thuraya coordinates packed?
After packed date and time integers, longitude and latitude are signed integers divided by 1 000 000. Course sits in the low 12 bits of the next short.
Can a Thuraya unit run SMS setup or a controlled-action flow?
