This week's updates are all about fleet intelligence: turning raw GPS data into actionable insights.
Vehicle downtime detection
The system now tracks when vehicles are inactive for extended periods and triggers alerts. If a vehicle that normally runs daily has been parked for 48 hours, you get notified.
This catches problems early: forgotten vehicles, maintenance delays, drivers who stopped showing up. No manual checking required.
Vehicle activity score
Every vehicle now receives a daily activity score from 0 to 100, computed from three signals:
- Days active (40 points): how consistently the vehicle operates
- Distance covered (30 points): total kilometers driven
- Drive time (30 points): total hours on the road
The score makes it easy to spot underutilized vehicles at a glance. Sort your fleet by activity score and the problem vehicles surface immediately.
Device settings templates
Managing GPS device settings across a large fleet used to mean configuring each device individually. Now you can create a settings template once and apply it to multiple devices. Change the template, and all linked devices update.
Templates cover alert thresholds, reporting intervals, geo-zone configurations, and all other device-level settings.
Fleet activity digest
A periodic email digest summarizing your fleet's activity: total distance, drive time, active vehicles, idle vehicles, and notable events. Delivered to your inbox so you stay informed without logging into the dashboard.
Appointment enhancements
Building on the v2 appointment system from January: appointments now support cancellation notifications, rescheduling with re-confirmation, and a search function to find past and upcoming appointments quickly.
What this means for you
These features work together to give you a clearer picture of your fleet's health. Downtime detection catches problems. Activity scores quantify utilization. Settings templates save configuration time. And the digest keeps you in the loop without extra effort.
