Different companies. Castel Electronics (telematics hardware, since 2002) is the GPS tracker brand. Castel Networks is a separate French telephony company. The two share a name only.
Primarily China, EU OEM integrations, and select LATAM commercial fleets. Not common in Senegal · most West African commercial fleets use Teltonika or Concox hardware.
Depends on the model · the OBD line speaks a documented protocol that Traccar's Castel driver decodes. Traxelio includes the same driver. Re-point the server endpoint via Castel's configuration tool.
