iStartek devices use a non-standard SMS command format. Wrong: server,1,ip,port#. Correct: set,domain,ip,port. Use the iStartek SMS reference (in Traxelio's onboarding doc) for the exact syntax.
Verify the relay coil is wired to the device's output pin (max ~150mA) with a 1N4007 diode. Some early VT202 batches have a separate enable register for the digital output · check the iStartek manual for setdo,1,on to enable.
