Quick answers

Which protocol and port does the FMB110 use on Traxelio?

Teltonika Codec 8 Extended AVL on TCP port 5027. Set gps.traxelio.com and port 5027 in Configurator 2004/2005. Do not pick h02 or gt06.

How do I provision FMB110?

Teltonika Configurator over USB or BLE (pairing code 5555). SMS uses two leading spaces then setparam for APN 2001 and server 2004/2005=5027. There is no four-digit SMS PIN on this model.

Does FMB110 have an internal backup battery?

No. The package is the tracker, 2x6 harness, and USB cable. Keep 10–30 V on VCC. For a 170 mAh pack in the same FMB1xx case, compare FMB130.

How is FMB110 different from FMB920?

FMB110 adds analog inputs and 1-Wire on the 2x6 harness. FMB920 is the compact 2G workhorse with an internal pack and a simpler I/O set. Both report Codec 8 on port 5027.

Overview

About the FMB110

The Teltonika FMB110 is a compact hardwired 2G GNSS tracker with internal GNSS and GSM antennas, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, analog inputs, two digital outputs, and 1-Wire. It reports Codec 8 AVL on port 5027. There is no internal backup pack — keep constant 10–30 V on the harness. CAN data needs a Teltonika adapter on the LV-CAN pins. Traxelio turns that stream into live map, geofences, and confirmed immobilizer cut.

Common issues

Unit dies when ignition is off

FMB110 has no backup pack. Wire VCC to a constant 10–30 V source (battery or fuse box), not an ACC-only circuit, and use DIN1 or voltage ignition detection in Configurator.

SMS setparam ignored

Blank Teltonika SMS login needs two leading spaces. If the phone strips them, configure over USB. After the unit is online, GPRS setparam needs no spaces.

Silent on Traxelio after a Configurator save

Port must be 5027 with Codec 8 Extended. 5013/5023 will handshake TCP and never decode. Confirm IMEI matches the Traxelio device id.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about using the FMB110 with Traxelio

In Teltonika Configurator, set the SIM APN, then server domain gps.traxelio.com and TCP port 5027 (parameters 2004/2005, 2006=0). Save to device. SMS equivalent is two leading spaces then setparam 2001:APN;2004:gps.traxelio.com;2005:5027;2006:0.

No. Provision with Configurator, FOTA WEB, or Codec 12 SMS (two leading spaces when login and password are blank). Bluetooth pairing for Configurator uses code 5555 — that is not an SMS PIN.

No internal pack. If VCC falls, the unit stops until 10–30 V returns. For ignition-off tracking in the same housing class, compare FMB130 (170 mAh backup).

No. Ingress rating is IP41. Cabin-mount behind the dashboard with the engraved face toward the sky. The housing is not a sealed puck.
