Configurator is a desktop app (Windows) used to set the server endpoint, accelerometer thresholds, geofence rules, and I/O assignments on FMB/FMC/FMM devices over USB. Codec 8 + GPRS settings are read and written from the same screen. There is no end-user mobile app · Teltonika devices report to a platform, the platform (Traxelio, Wialon, Navixy, etc.) provides the user app.

Default motion threshold is 0.1g · should fire on any meaningful movement. If not firing, check: (1) motion-trigger sensitivity in Configurator, (2) device mounting is rigid (loose mounting absorbs vibration), (3) firmware is up to date.
Most common: reporting interval too aggressive. Default heartbeat is 24h, that's the right baseline for asset tracking. If someone set it to 1h heartbeat for testing and forgot, the device burns through battery in months instead of years.
